Adrift Archive – Web For Now…

Looking forward to the Adrift Archive show as their tribute site reveals some highlights circa 2004 to 2008. Adrift is celebrating it’s past life in Kensington Market with an art show in November’s. The old shop was host to great parties, great music, and great skateboarders. Contributing photographers from Ryan Allan, Canice Leung, and David Waldman so the show is sure to impress. Hopefully Adrift can continue to raise the bar and represent Toronto’s skateboard/art scene for many more years.

Place Hands and Friends Bring the Rawk On!!!

If you aren’t already barging the My Bloody Valentine show tonight at Kool Haus you may want to catch Place Hands at the Press Club. A more modestly priced show for sure and you can “support” the local scene at the same time. An interesting Toronto mix to be sure. Psychadelic noise pop from THE PINK NOISE, shoegazer/garage from PIRATE/ROCK and the post hardcore of PLACE HANDS.

Great Show Tonight at TERANGA

Whoa, are the stars in perfect alignment or something. Tonight brings together an interesting collection of indie, post-punk, and jazz at Teranga. Teranga is a Senegalese restaurant, if you don’t already know, and just one of many interesting spots to catch a bite and great music in the Kensington Market.
