A Stanley Cup Challenge
So the OC in CA think the AD can beat the OS in the ON (the one in the other CA). And if you understood that without clicking on the links, I’m impressed.
Well, they’ve got another think coming. Oh, they do indeed. A thinking they have coming. Coming of the think they be having. Having a new think, they will.
Since Ottawa has no Metroblogging city, Metroblogging Toronto is happy to take up the rallying cry for the Sens (we really miss the Cup here in Hogtown). So, I–by which I mean Alden–propose a tiny bet to the authors in Metroblogging O.C.
If the Ducks win, I, as Captain of Metblogs Toronto (or it could be Alden since this was his idea), will don a Ducks jersey and pose in front of the CN Tower for a picture. If the Senators win, the captain of Metblogs O.C. (or another O.C. author, I suggest Mike Randall) will wear a Senators jersey and pose for a picture in front of whatever phallic landmark you guys have there.
Ground rules:
-The losing city will have to acquire the jersey themselves (Wal-mart imitations are okay)
-Photo has to be good quality as humiliation looks best in high res
-The winning city gets to write an entry and totally humiliate the losing city
-The losing city must write an entry detailing their loss, and praising the winning city for their pure awesomeness (picture must be included)
-winning city has bragging rights till the start of the next season
