Is anyone out there old enough to remember Sunnyside Beach Amusement Park? Sunnyside what? Yup, that’s right. A long time ago Sunnyside beach, and the area which is now the Gardiner, use to be the Sunnyside Beach Amusement Park. I figured with the CNE just around the corner we could take a look at what else kept us Torontonians amused and entertained back in the day.

Coaster Enthusiasts of Canada has put together a great history bit about the park. An everything you need to know about this great amusement park that hugged the western shoreline for 32 years.
