Join the public celebration of the life of Ed Mirvish…

David Mirvish announced a public celebration of the life of his father, Honest Ed Mirvish, to take place TODAY outside Honest Ed’s Retail Emporium at 581 Bloor Street West. The City of Toronto will be closing Bloor Street between Bathurst and Markham Streets for the event. Mayor David Miller is to proclaim August 12, 2007 “Ed Mirvish Day” in the City of Toronto. In Ed’s honour there will be live entertainment and refreshments served. Join in the celebration of one of Toronto’s great citizens.

Bloor Street will be closed between Bathurst and Markham Streets
