They Don’t Call It BCE Anymore…

Yup. As of today BCE PLACE is not BCE PLACE. Another naming convention in Toronto. Movers and shakers Brookfield have renamed the structure BROOKFIELD PLACE.

    Probably a good idea. The C in BCE doesn’t seem to mean what it used to.

    This seemingly constant changing of names is getting a bit silly, but the one I really object to is the renaming of SkyDome. I was certain the government said that the name — once determined through a public contest — would never change, no matter what. We seem incapable of just letting a name stand, like in Europe or even New York. Egos!
