The Toronto Archdiocese is not happy. Neither is the Vatican. You can bet a pretty penny that my priest ain’t smilin’ neither.

Toronto’s Roman Catholic Womenpriests Movement (three guesses as to what they stand for!) ordained five women and a married dude this past Sunday. One of the newly ordained priests is Sudbury’s own Marie Bouclin.

Yeah, the Vatican’s all over this one.

An informal Sudbury Star poll reports that nearly 60 per cent (59.6) of Sudburians, Sudburnites… people from Sudbury, agree with the ordination of female priests in the Catholic Church.

I’d wager a day’s wage that Toronto-ites, Torontans, Torontoni… people from Toronto, would feel the same way.
