Downtown Streets Reopened Near First Canadian Place

For those who haven’t heard, a piece of First Canadian Place fell yesterday, forcing city officials to close off all streets within the area, and causing traffic hell for downtown motorists.

Most streets repoened this afternoon, but a small stretch of King West was still cordoned off.

As someone who prefers to walk while downtown, I found most motorists calmer than usual, less horn-obsessed, and nicer to pedestrians. I found it quite odd.
