ABSOLUT Winner - Woo hoo!
Very honoured and happy to have won a trip to London UK in the ABSOLUT Vodka photo contest. Makes my first non-OT working weekend of 2007 even better. I’ll definitely kick back and shoot some photos with the bros and skate at the indoor skatepark this weekend… YEAH!

Really bro, wow… when are you thinking of taking that trip? Did they give you feedback on why they loved the shots so much? (Besides the whole picking you thing…)
The trip is to the Lomography World Congress which is in the fall of 2007. I won a lower prize in the BMW competition in 2004. Couldn’t afford to travel see my shots up on the Beijing Lomo Wall (with the other 60,000) during the China Lomo Congress:

As for why they loved the shots…??? Lomography is done in the spirit of ANALOG. Rich colours, double exposures, cross processing, fun fun fun. I was excited to have nearly half my submissions on their first wall and AMAZED to have won. The judging is from your “peers” (other Lomographers), visitors to the website, and LOMOGRAPHY Vienna’s final panel.
