Cyrstal Wish Tree
The Toronto Eaton Centre and Swarovski Canada teamed up to create this Crystal Wish Tree, located midway between Sears and Queen Street on the second level of the mall. Their wish is to “bring more sparkle to people’s lives during [Christmas].” And to recognize “the need for support in fulfilling the wishes of children diagnosed with high-risk, life-threatening illnesses….[They] selected The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada as the beneficiary of the Crystal Wish Tree.” It’s decorated with 10,000 Swarovski crystals, representing all the smiles at this time of year, and turns slowly round and round allowing all the crystals to flash in the light. You’ll be able to see it until December 31st. If you haven’t seen it, you should go!
