Battling Bait and Switch Gas Prices

Just got back from the cottage. Glad I left later, and arrived later. I’ve noticed that gas stations love to charge higher prices in the morning before work, often lowering prices after dinner when everyone goes to bed. Left with half a tank and rolled the dice.

You always have a secret weapon or shear luck… I arrived at the corner gas station, at the edge of my tank, and as luck would have it at the beginning of a heated gas war. (The station accross the road just lowered his prices.) By the time I got to my pump “MY STATION” lowered and called the competition. Going to bed with a big smile on my face considering I just save 20 CENTS per litre!!! Definitely a nice cap to a great weekend…rain or no rain. Today was sunbeams and smiles!!!

During last year’s huge price increases I went to that site from work almost daily just to view what was happening and where.

Being a cabbie must really really suck in this climate..then again maybe they have figured out the pattern of cheap gas prices better than the rest of us.
