There’s just too many of them…

You’re on the TTC, riding the bus down a major street before 7am. (Or at least I do) And maybe you’ve noticed something that has started to get me wondering. There are people waiting at obscure bus stops (like on Eglinton, the stop right at the DVP, when going West) who let almost empty buses go by while straining to look into the distance. As if for another bus. The strange part is that they almost start to walk out towards the bus, then go back inside in the classic “I’m waiting for another bus” pose.

The thing about these routes is that there is no other bus running on them at this point and there is no short turn or other destination. They all run to Eglinton station… Too much thought about this or coffee induced paranoia? Or just the fact that I am posting this before 8am. Maybe that is what’s fueling this, but it just sets me wondering…
