It’s About Time!

Seems the building named the “Pigeon Headquarters” by Fen for a Where in Toronto? post will finally be put to use!
The Bay-Adelaide Centre’s horribly ugly, unused, naked shell of a building has been with us since the early 90’s. Brookfield Properties is going to be tearing it down and as a part of a two-block complex turn that exact site into an urban park. The rest of the land is going to “be developed in phases totalling three buildings. Existing improvements include an 1100 stall parking garage, complete HVAC system housed in a stand alone building, loading facilities, and structure for two buildings completed to grade.”
I know that there is a lot of construction going on here and many readers are interested in what changes will be coming to Toronto. For me however, this change is at least going to get rid of some wasted space.
PS. Since it was brought up, Where in Toronto #15 still remains unanswered!
