To all our readers who have been trying to view the site and getting an error, we sincerely apologize. The whole Metroblogging Community has been on- and offline for the past several hours. Mostly offline. We are aware of the problem and are remedying it as we speak. By “we” I mean the tech team in charge of the site. By “team” I mean Jason and his group of super-smart monkeys who can type out the collected works of Shakespeare given enough typewriters and caffeine.

In short, dear readers, it’s your fault and we love you for it. Your constant visits are straining our systems, and we love it. Keep up the good work and keep coming back for more.
