Sequenters

Want to get to know the city better? Would you like to explore the big, the small, the horrible and the fine? Well, today I heard an interview on CBC Radio 1with the Serial Diners, who just might be into just what you need.

They have literally taken the Yellow Pages and, starting at A in 1989, begun an attempt to dine “at every restaurant listed in the Toronto Yellow Pages (in alphabetical order), at the rate of one per week.” Founder Jason Taniguchi asks for anyone and hell, everyone in Toronto who wants to come even once to check it out. If you click the link made above you can find out their activities, rules, articles written about them and contact info.

They are currently at the letter H and are dining this Friday at the Hong Kong Harbour Restaurant Inc. If someone goes/has gone, let us know what you thought!

I enjoy hearing about these off-the-beaten-track events, much like the Game Nights that Saira posted about a little while back. Some interesting things do go on in our city!

Been meaning on joining these guys ever since I saw them featured on a magazine. That was over a year ago. Perhaps your blog entry is a sign from the PTBs for me to get off my ass and, well, make it larger.

Mayhaps I’ll see you all there.
