A trip to Clafouti this weekend and Johannes post regarding pastry reminded me of how much I like breads, pastries, and well BREAD.

Toronto is home to some great local bakeries. On the medium to larger scale ACE and Stonemill are my favourites. Stonemill’s awesome bagels (and other breads) can be found on the ground floor of the St. Lawrence Market (and if you’re lucky your local grocery store). ACE’s breads are now all over the better grocery stores accross the GTA. They make one of, if not the best, baguettes you can buy…

OK, back to my garlic bread…LoL
