As a person who has been unemployed for a few weeks now, not much has been coming up on the media for me to blog about. Mostly it’s politics which is pretty dry. Swoon has been doing a pretty good job of covering most of the major news events anyway. The weather is finally being nice to us, but that’s not really blog worthy. I’ve been trying to keep busy without much avail.

Attended Toronto Bar Camp which was interesting and may have been a decent chance to network but there was way too much geek-fever going on there and aside from a one or two demo’s it seemed all that most of the presenters wanted to do was show how impressive their hacking/coding skills were. I suppose in all fairness that is primarily what a geek demo entails.

The only other thing that I’ve been doing lately is eating, and I have to tell you that Mel’s Montreal Bistro has some of the best smoked meat I’ve had…EVER. i think the only sandwiches that compare are the salt beef sandwiches you get in the selfridges cafetaria, but the london team might know a bit more about that..

so theres also been a mass murder in southern ontario not too far from here and the biker’s are being pointed at as always. it’s like that anything happens wrong in the city, and noone can find an answer so it’s the biker’s fault. funny.
