What will be Thown from the Throne…?

A disappointing start for our PM? A whirlwind PR campaign in Afganistan, Canadian Defence posters in Washington D.C. subway stations, a suck up vacation in Cancun and still no resolution on Soft Wood Lumber. Hoping Mr. Harper’s untucked shirt during the Summit was not evidence of him turning into an Ottawa “fat cat”.

Hoping today’s throne speech (at 3pm EST) will really set the tone. Let us know what your thinking… God Bless Canada?

Bring the press back on the hill and let see how accountable ALL the MP’s can be. To make it a sporting bet I’m sure voters will give a majority government to the Party with Canadian’s interests at heart (not just people who want Alberta Oil…) How about Canada for all Canadians (that’s new, old, original, from the East, West, North, and South …well as South as Point Peele)

My guess on the throne speech. Big talk on crime & punishment as well as defence (with little mention to ways to prevent the causes of crime and keep the peace.) Seems to be a borrowed script but that’s where things sit thus far… Toronto be warned, you are not on the map anymore. Quebec holds the “key” to a majority government, according to polls. It’s going to be a rough ride but not if you speak up for yourself…

I hadn’t realized he was using the “God Bless Canada!” line.. it sounds odd even to someone with a religious position.

Remember a certain movie line that said it best about our neighbours: “God Bless America, and no one else!”

    ugh!
