Steven Lewis and Paul Rusesabagina here on Tuesday, Jan 10th

There is going to be a lunch meet and greet at Ryerson University. At noon in room SCC-115 (the Multi-Purpose Room) Paul Rusesabagina, (the real life hero shown in the film Hotel Rwanda who saved the lives of 1200 people during the 1994 genocides in Rwanda) will speak and be available to meet. It costs $5.00 and is geared towards students. (But they do not have to be Ryerson students)

If you would like to go try and email hillel@ryerson.ca.

Sorry for the last minute notice but I figured trying to get the word out in any way is better than saying that it is too late.

Now, Mr Rusesabagina will actually be speaking/presenting at York University at 3pm in Founders Assembly Hall according to Devora Schwartz. (This is a free event) Contacted by email, Devora said that “this would be a great opportunity for community members to come. As part of the day-long program we are also holding a panel presentation at UofT in the evening featuring Steven Lewis. This event is $5 for students and $10 for community members.”

Steven Lewis is the UN Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa and celebrated Canadian author of “Race Against Time.”

Please contact the schools in question to ascertain all the appropriate, detailed information.

I am doing a research paper on Rwanda and am wondering if I could get in touch with Mr. Paul Rusebagina via email or phone.

I am willing to pay the charge for it if it comes to that.

    thank you

Tinzing, I wish I had those types of contacts but unfortunately I do not.
