It seems that a common practice at my workplace was turned into an actual rule of sorts. Everyone probably remembers learning that bathroom door handles are very dirty, covered in bacteria etc. People here would grab some paper towelling and use it to open the doors. (There are always two sets of doors to get into or out of the bathroom) Upon opening the last door they would either keep this towelling with them or drop it on the floor. Now, our cleaning staff have placed a garbage bin right beside the last door for this garbage.

Really I do find this interesting..haha. I have been here for over five years and don’t remember the garbage ever piling up as it had in the last 4 months. Like all of a sudden it just caught on, and then the cleaning staff responded to it in this way. Weird how it all happens…
