taking a stroll

so finally got out of a rut yesterday. after work, took a nice stroll all the way on bloor from sherbourne till bathhurst making pitstops at book city, future bakery and honest ed’s and all the way back on the north side of the street again. had forgotten what a great feeling it is to walk along bloor street. the variety of people that you encounter is mind boggling.

toronto is a fantastic city. my sister in law is visiting here and this is the first time she’s spent time in the city for a longer period of time and she has been comparing it to boston and vermont where she has lived before and she is amazed at the attitudes and ambience of the city and it’s people. some of her comments, are along the lines of ‘it’s clean’, ‘the people are SO NICE and FRIENDLY’, ‘it’s chilled out’, ‘there’s hardly any snobby, snooty people around” and “it’s so chilled out”.

go tee dot.
