Rock On Toronto

I’ve been catching the last bit of INXS Rockstar as they are now in the final four.

Particularly, I’ve been rooting for Suzie as she is a Toronto girl. Unfortunately, she got eliminated last night but I think it was pretty awesome that she stuck it out. She was the one gal in remaining.

You go, GIRL!

Or whatever cool way these kids say it these days…

Anyway, I’m hoping that JD wins. His voice is sexy - and that’s how I remembered this 80/90’s band.

I was rooting for Suzie as well, since she was from Toronto, but, oh well.

J.D. is the only one I can’t stand on the show and I make a point of voting for everyone else but him, even though he’s Canadian, and it would be nice to see a Canadian get in.

His whole personality and manoeuverings at the beginning really put me off him. Not to mention that sometimes, I feel his Elvis impersonator persona is slipping back into his singing, and it doesn’t impress me.

Overall, I guess his singing’s ok, but I can’t vote for him just due to his personality. (I guess you’ve got to vote twice as much for him if you want to cancel out my twice as many votes for everyone else. :)

Somebody kill INXS… This show is a pathetic plea for attention. Gee their appetite for stardom has not faded even with the suicide death of the man that made them FAMOUS!? Sickening, Toronto contestant or no…

chico - actually, i think most that go into reality tv is looking for some plea for attention. or a quick way to get to fame.

still love the retro tunes of INXS though. brings back good memories of my university years.
