Shy’s Good, Bad and Ugly #10

The Bad…

After the accident of which my insurance company claimed that my premium would not be altered that much as the accident was not my fault, I went out and found a used car, similar to that of the car I use to drive.

Yes, it’s true that I use to drive an american car and now, I am driving a Nissan.

However, I did the research needed to make sure that it would not drastically increase the cost of my insurance rate.

The Ugly…

My rate is now almost $100 more each month.

#%$@#!!*&% WTF???

I called my broker demanding an explanation. And the only thing they could say was that the car I bought was considered more ‘risky’.

Total crap. I got a quote from one of their competitors and they are able to give me a rate for my Nissan that is much lower then even the rate I was paying for my previous car.

The Good…

www.insurancehotline.com

A great site that gives online quotes as well as tips to keep one’s insurance premiums low.
