T&T Superstore

They are popping up everywhere in Scarborough and Markham.

And I’m happy.

We’re talking about a franchised chinese supermarket where it’s huge, clean, organized and even gives english signs for each aisle. Plus, just inside the entrance of the store is a little food market. I’ve seen many people there at lunch (from all different cultures) lining up for some take-out dim sum.

And might I just add…

$2.99 for a BASKET of portebello mushrooms! I was estatic! Do you know how much it cost for just four of said mushrooms at places like A&P or Dominions? $3.99 if my memory is correct!

I was so excited I could have pee-ed my pants.

(How said is it that portebello mushrooms excite me THAT much?)
