May Two Four
The fireworks started yesterday afternoon…
ka-BOOM!
Unfortunately, I’m stuck at home doing some web projects but during coffee breaks and spending time with my kid, I’ve been enjoying the fresh air.
And of course… BBQ’s. What kind of canadian would I be without BBQ-ing on the May long weekend?
I hope everyone else is taking in the nice weather (sans the occasional grey cloud here and there). Eat, drink (responsibly) and be merry.
And hopefully, you didn’t pick this time of the year, like yours truly, to put a halt on beer.
I swear I have the worst timing…

Was down at Sunnyside Park last night to get a view of the Ontario Place show, also turned out to be many people bringing their own along the beach.
As soon as the Ontario Place show was done, and people had exhausted their own supply, they just packed up into their minivans/SUVs and left. The beach was completely littered with burnt out fireworks, sparklers, and garbage from the food shacks.
I can imagine it was a great sight to see this morning for local Sunnyside residents, as well as dog walkers who had to deal with avoiding sharp sparklers stuck in the sand.
If people can’t clean up after themselves, this kind of thing shouldn’t be permitted whatsoever. Way to stay classy, Toronto.
