Flight Cancelled

So another Canadian airline has bit the dust! I feel bad for the thousands of travellers who were counting on Jetsgo to get them somewhere important today. But I feel worse for the employees who woke up today to suddenly learn that they had no jobs to go to.

When is Corporate Canada going to be held accountable for their business practices? The press release on the company’s former website adds insult to injury by telling some rather pissed-off passengers that they’ll need to make alternative travel arrangements. Um yeah, thanks a lot! Try telling that to the parents who are now going to miss their daughter’s wedding in Vegas and can’t afford to book a last minute ticket priced at $2000 CDN with an alternate airline. Or try explaining that to the 6-year old who had his heart set on being at Disneyworld next week! Good friggin’ luck is all I have to say!
