bye bye Bob
I was at work today, watching a news feed on a monitor, and I saw Bob McAdorey on it. I asked someone why he was in the news, and I was told he passed away.
I grew up watching him on Global, he was an entertainment reporter there from the mid-70s until he retired in 2000. If memory serves me correctly, he didn’t like Madonna, and that he liked Bailey Quarters from the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati. He had a sense of humour and was vocal about his likes and dislikes. My mom watched News At Noon and enjoyed watching his entertainment reports.
He was from Niagara Falls, ON. He worked at CHUM Radio in Toronto in the 60s before going to Global TV. He was 69.
