shall we dance?
I took a closer look at the Toronto Music Garden today, I took the time to read some of the plaques and explanations and plant labels. The garden is built as an interpretation of Bach’s music. Trees and rocks are arranged in flowing and dancing formations to reflect specific aspects of the music. Though I looked for what the explanations referred to, I largely forgot what they said when I was within its winding paths. I think its design stands on its own without having to be tied in with Bach’s music, though I know its design was based on it.
I then wondered what type of garden it would have been if it was interpreting the music of the Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, or Frank Zappa.
